PersonalityThe fans call her Spikemuth’s “Precious Punk”, Willow a former dragon gym trainer and current dark gym trainer and musician is the self proclaimed queen of Spikemuth. This punk is often described as mischievous, energetic, & sly. Though those who know her more than her rowdy and punkish exterior describe her as whole hearted, caring & a person who would do anything for her loved ones.Willow as the leader of the band Weeping Willow often plays into the bands persona (Weeping Willow) a dramatic woman whose voice & even weeps make the crowd cry tears of joy. That’s where the name comes from. With such name & music she plays she’s bound to have some media controversy, most League Staff members and Marco Cosmo employees seem to have a distaste for her “Recklessness”. But those who know her well know that she is nothing but a sweetheart. “Her reckless punk energy is just an appearance anyone who takes the time to know her beyond that knows it”~ Piers

In the core series gamesAfter defeating Piers you can come up to him and there you will see him talking on his Rotom Phone with one of his band mates that goes by Willow.This is the first mention of Willow we don’t get to see her though.After the player defeats Marnie in the Champion Cup Semifinals in Wyndon, Piers and Willow rededicates Team Yell to cheering on the player instead. This is Willows first introduction. Both them and Team Yell assist the player and Hop in accessing Rose Tower by helping them find the Macro Cosmos's League staff hiding the monorail key needed to reach the tower. Willow is never properly “introduced” as is her name isn’t revealed, she just casually tells the player she’s helping out her good friend and band mate Piers as she was worried for his safety. In line with her forgetful and distracted personality she just went with the flow without even properly introducing herself to the player!Though not mentioned as much in the main storyline besides the end you can see multiple Weeping Willow concert posters hanging around Galar especially in Spikemuth. Some Npc’s in Spikemuth even mention her name. At this point we the player already know by speculation who she is especially if we paid attention to the posters and dialogue.But Willow makes her “official” introduction after the events of the DLC in a side quest.Some Zigzagoons and Dreepys where released and made a mess in the Marco Cosmo offices. Oleana comes up to the player and ask them to help her out so the suspect can take back their Pokémon and issue a public apology. If the player agrees Oleana will tell the player that her prime suspect in this prank situation is Weeping Willow as both Marco Cosmos and this musician have beef. She tells the player to go to the Dragon Gym to talk to Raihan as they are friends and he probably knows about her whereabouts.After Raihan tells the player she is harmless and just likes to pull pranks he tells the player she currently is hosting a concert in Spikemuth. Once the player arrives they have to battle a few Team Yell members before entering. When the player enters Willow stops the concert and looks at them. She chuckles and asks if the player was looking for her she even recognized the player from thier previous encounter and properly introduced herself. Once the player explains why they are there Willow tells them that she will apologize to the company if they beat her in a battle.Once the player beats her she gets flustered and embarrassed for her defeat, she talks to the player about her obvious negative history with the company and apologizes for making the player go through such a hassle because even with a battle she would have NOT apologized to the company. She tells the player she doesn’t like Marco Cosmos or really any big corporations because she’s a punk and doesn’t feel to much remorse. Though she did tell them that somehow she would apologize to the sanitation employees that had to clean up the mess her Pokemon left behind.The player has an option to have a few conversations with Willow and if they end up befriending her she gives them a shiny Dreepy and calls the player one of her “precious punks” platoniclly because now she considers them to be part of the Spikemuth family which ends the side quest with Willow by giving them her league card which is a picture of her as a young league challenger.

League CardsNormal“Even though she had a rough upbringing with absent parents this precious punk still carried on. Willow the daughter Hammerlock University Secretary Esmeralda Rosario and high ranking science teacher at Hammerlock University Alejandro Rosario was a punk as long as she can remember.She wasn’t as smart and overachieving as her parents expected her to be and would much rather play with Pokémon and listen to music instead of studying or being top of the class as her parents wanted her to be, instead she had an interest in battling which by her parents words “was a useless sport”. Her parents with such high expectations for their daughter and themselves often were busy and too tired to care for young Willow leaving her to care for herself. She often left her house to go play with Pokémon out in Hammerlock Hills.This is how she developed her passion for Pokémon and decided to embark with her journey. With the endorsement of Kabu who was a father figure to her she set off on her journey without her family’s permission as they weren’t found of this career path. She lost in the semifinals and later became a high ranking gym trainer in the Dragon gym but later due to Oleana’s request she was transferred to work at the Dark gym where she later became a musician!”Rare“A Hard core punk with a heart made a gold and a soft spot for Pokémon society may deem as scary. Willow actually gets easily flustered easily especially when her fans give her gifts. She seems to have a particular soft spot for Gym Leader Piers often hanging around him at all times. It may not be as known but Piers helped Willow out with starting her musical career. She used to be rhythm guitarist and backing vocals in his band “The Maximizers” before she founded the Emo Rock and Pop Punk sensation “Weeping Willow”Besides Music and Battling Willow enjoys nurturing baby Pokemon and teaching youngsters the roots to battling and playing the guitar.“She’s also a reckless driver”

Trivia•Willow's uniform number is "063", which can be read in Japanese as goroawase for 惨め Mijime, meaning "miserable”,”sad” referring to the type of Music she plays (Emo/Pop Punk).

TeamDragapult ♂,(Draco) is Willows ace Pokémon and the last one she sends out. He is Willows Starter Pokémon. Willow was a fairly lonely kid having trouble socializing with others so she often went to Hammerlock hills to play with Pokémon by herself. One day she was being quite reckless near the wetland area. She tripped and fell over a few rocks and as a kid does she started crying. To make matters worse a small group of Dreepys started fussing around with her trying to use the move infestation on her. Then a duo of lingering Dreepys confronted the small gang of delinquents chased them off.They came to the youngster said and sat on her lap as of to confront her. After a little while she stood up and gave the Dreepys a piece of candy she had in her pocket and played with them to thank them for what they did for her.As she set off home one of the Dreepys followed her home and Willow enthusiastically took him in and since that day they are inseparable!Toxtricity♂,(Pierce) is Willows second Pokemon she sends out or the Pokémon she Dynamaxs when you battle her in the Galarian Star Tournament. While looking for a new member for her team on a rainy day close to the nursery she heard a faint cry. Dreepy and Willow went over to the bushes where they heard the faint sounds and found a small and scared Toxel. Willow feeling confused on why the Toxel was scared when these Pokémon usually like the rain, so she went over and tried to pick it up to comfort them as she felt sorry for him. The Toxel gave her a small shock which startled Willow but thankfully didn’t hurt her. Even with this Willow still felt like she needed to comfort the Pokémon so she did and this time Toxel let itself be comfort and even let itself be caught. Toxel was pretty small and had trouble evolving, so Willow did some research and found out Toxtricitys likes electric guitars and rock music so she bought cheap used guitar and tried to learn some tunes to help Toxel get motivated and pumped up, he eventually evolved becoming her second ace.
